Julia Skow

Paralegal

Julia joins Elizabeth Christy Law Firm in 2020 with three years of focused family law experience within Clark and Cowlitz County. Prior to beginning a career as paralegal, she obtained her Bachelor’s in History at Washington State University. Julia’s passion for history led her to seek a Master’s degree from Ohio University but after being offered a paralegal position in Vancouver, WA, she made her way home and has not looked back. She is currently attending Portland Community College to obtain an Associates in Paralegal Studies in order to better serve her clients and team members.
Julia understands that family law matters are a sensitive and delicate time for most individuals and prides herself on taking the time to listen to client’s and their concerns. The outcomes of a case may have long standing impacts on a client’s life and Julia seeks to minimize stress wherever possible.
When not at work, Julia enjoys spending time watching the Timbers and Seahawks. On a good rainy day, she prefers to bake bread or read a book with a hot cup of tea. Traveling has also become a deep passion for Julia and she can often be found searching for plane tickets and browsing travel sites.
