Jake’s transition to the legal field, however, came after working closely with developmentally disabled adults for over a decade—a career that instilled ethics, patience, and empathy.

Before joining Elizabeth Christy Law Firm in 2019, Wendy worked in several practice areas including criminal defense, employment law, and personal injury. However, she attributes her time working with an attorney for the Clark County Therapeutic Courts as a catalyst for her passion in family law and helping families in crisis.

Julia joins Elizabeth Christy Law Firm in 2020 with three years of focused family law experience within Clark and Cowlitz County. Prior to beginning a career as paralegal, she obtained her Bachelor’s in History at Washington State University. Julia’s passion for history led her to seek a Master’s degree from Ohio University but after being offered a paralegal position in Vancouver, WA, she made her way home and has not looked back.
